Job summary

FutureCare Annapolis is seeking a CNA-1 to join our frontline clinical team in Annapolis, MD. You’ll assist residents with daily living activities, monitor vitals, and provide companionship while upholding safety and quality standards.

A $3,000 sign-on bonus is offered for full-time hires, with competitive pay and shift differentials. The role requires Maryland CNA-1 certification and a professional, team‑oriented attitude.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current CNA-1 certification in Maryland.
• Positive and professional attitude.
• Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
• Previous experience in a skilled nursing facility is a plus.
• Ability to communicate effectively.
• Ability to remain calm and patient with residents.
• Active listening is essential.
• Empathy and compassion when interacting with residents.

Responsibilities

• Assist nursing staff with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, oral care, and basic needs.
• Take vital signs at start of shift and as directed.
• Respond to assistance calls and monitor resident condition.
• Complete required documentation promptly.
• Assist with transporting residents as needed.
• Provide companionship and ensure resident safety.
• Maintain a clean and healthy environment.
