Job summary

FutureCare is seeking a CNA-1 to join our frontline health care team to support residents with daily living activities, vital signs, and compassionate care.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current Maryland CNA-1 certification.
• Positive and professional attitude.
• Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
• Effective communication and patient care skills.
• Previous skilled nursing facility experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) and basic care.
• Take vital signs at shift start and as directed.
• Answer calls and monitor changes in residents’ condition.
• Complete required documentation promptly.
• Assist with transporting residents.
• Provide companionship to residents.
• Ensure resident safety.
• Encourage activity and engagement.
• Maintain a clean and healthy environment.
