Job summary

ECS Limited is seeking a Construction Materials Testing (CMT) Project Manager to join the Fayetteville field services team. You will manage diverse projects and work with senior engineers, field staff, and clients to meet deadlines and deliver quality reports.

Responsibilities include budget management, invoicing, change orders, and client meetings; you will also mentor staff and drive project success while upholding CMT standards and ASTM lab practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering and Management, Materials Science Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or Geology.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
• Valid driver’s license and insurance.
• PE or PG license in the practicing state.
• Strong marketing skills to establish and maintain client relationships.
• Strong communication skills (spoken and written).
• Knowledge of heavy construction safety, practices, and procedures.
• Knowledge of CMT principles, applications, and ASTM standards.
• Ability to work effectively with clients, peers, and supervisors.

Responsibilities

• Support management of CMT projects including daily report review and collaboration with project teams.
• Manage project budgets, prepare invoices and pay applications, assist with collection efforts.
• Prepare proposals and change orders; host or attend client meetings and follow up on reports.
• Perform soil classifications and assign laboratory testing.
• Mentor junior staff and support team development.
