Job summary

ECS Limited is seeking a CMT Staff Project Manager I to join our Carrollton field services team. The role blends office and field work, supporting construction materials testing projects through technical analysis, reporting, and coordination.

You will help with budgeting, proposals, and documentation while advancing core CMT and project management skills. Ideal candidates bring a BS in civil-related fields, strong communication skills, and a drive to grow in a customer-focused environment

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering & Management, Materials Science Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or Geology required.
• No professional license required to start; license helps career progression.
• Valid driver’s license if driving for ECS subsidiary.

Responsibilities

• Support management of CMT projects, review daily field reports, assist with issue resolution.
• Assist with budgeting, invoicing, change orders, and collections.
• Support preparation of proposals and project documentation.
• Perform or assist laboratory testing, soils classification, and materials evaluation.
• Test soils, foundations, reinforced and post-tensioned concrete, masonry, structural steel, fireproofing, and asphalt.
• Review field reports and document project data.
• Assist training and coordination of field staff on projects.
• Perform task-based work across project lifecycle from proposal to closeout.
• Communicate with project teams, contractors, and field personnel.
• Perform other technical and project support duties as assigned.
