Job summary

ECS Limited in Carrollton, TX seeks a Construction Materials Testing (CMT) Staff Project Manager I to join our field services team. You will support project execution, budgeting, documentation, and reporting, blending office and field work to deliver quality results.

The role develops technical and project management skills while upholding ECS values and providing excellent customer service to clients and field personnel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering and Management, Materials Science Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or Geology.
• Professional license not required for progression.
• Valid driver's license if driving for ECS subsidiary.
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
• Dependable, self-motivated and detail-oriented work ethic.
• Ability to work effectively in teams and independently.
• Basic understanding of construction processes and materials behavior.

Responsibilities

• Supports management of CMT projects, reviewing daily field reports and assisting with issue resolution.
• Assists with budgeting, invoicing, change orders, and collection efforts.
• Supports preparation of proposals and project documentation.
• Performs or assists with laboratory testing, soil classification, and materials evaluation.
• Supports testing of soils, foundations, concrete, masonry, structural steel, fireproofing, and asphalt.
• Reviews field reports and documents project data.
• Assists with training and coordination of field staff on projects.
• Performs task-based work across project lifecycle from proposal through closeout.
• Communicates with project teams, contractors, and field personnel.
• Performs other technical and project support duties as assigned.
