Job summary

UES, Inc. is seeking a CMT Project Manager to lead construction materials testing and inspection projects in the Cincinnati region. You will manage client relationships, coordinate field and lab teams, and ensure safety and quality across multiple projects.

You will provide technical leadership, mentor staff, and help grow UES presence in the local market, while delivering on schedule and budget with a strong focus on client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field; or equivalent experience.
• 4–7 years of CMT/inspection experience for non-degreed candidates.
• Certifications in relevant testing (ACI/ICC/ATTI/Nuclear) preferred.
• Strong knowledge of ASTM, AASHTO, and project specs; able to interpret requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead CMT projects from proposal to completion, ensuring scope, schedule, budget, and quality goals are met.
• Develop project estimates, scopes of work, and proposals with technical and biz development teams.
• Coordinate resources (field techs, lab support) to meet project demands efficiently.
• Provide technical oversight for field and lab work; ensure standards compliance.
• Mentor junior staff; promote client relationships and project growth.
• Drive safety, operational excellence, and continuous improvement across projects.
