Job summary

UES seeks a Construction Materials Testing Project Manager I in Erlanger, Kentucky to support planning, coordination, and execution of CMT projects, ensuring on-time delivery, quality, and compliance with ASTM/AASHTO and client specs. You will work with senior PMs, field technicians, and laboratories to grow technical and business acumen.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• 1–3 years of construction materials testing (CMT) and inspection experience for non-degreed candidates.
• Certifications in relevant testing or inspection areas (ACI, ICC, ATTI, Nuclear Safety) preferred, or willingness to obtain.
• Basic understanding of construction materials testing standards (ASTM, AASHTO) and ability to read plans and specs.
• Strong organizational, communication, and analytical skills; proficiency in MS Office and project management/reporting systems.

Responsibilities

• Support project management activities from proposal through completion to meet scope, schedule, budget, and quality objectives.
• Maintain client relationships through ongoing communication and field presence; identify new opportunities.
• Assist in developing estimates, proposals, and scopes of work; contribute to project wins.
• Coordinate daily activities, scheduling field technicians and support staff to meet project demands.
• Serve as point of contact for clients and contractors; escalate complex issues as needed.
• Track project progress, budgets, and metrics; support revenue tracking.
