Job summary

UES, Inc. is seeking a Construction Materials Testing (CMT) Project Manager II to independently plan, coordinate, and manage CMT projects supporting infrastructure and development.

You will work with technical staff, field crews, and clients to ensure on-time delivery and compliance with standards. The role requires a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related field, 4–7 years of CMT experience for non‑degreed candidates, and travel up to 40%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related technical discipline.
• 4–7 years of CMT/inspection experience for non‑degreed candidates.
• Certifications in relevant testing/inspection areas (ACI, ICC, ATTI, Nuclear Safety) preferred.
• Strong knowledge of ASTM/AASHTO standards and interpreting project requirements.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management or data reporting systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage CMT projects from proposal through completion.
• Develop project estimates, scopes of work, and proposals.
• Coordinate resources including field technicians and laboratory support.
• Communicate with clients and maintain strong working relationships.
• Monitor project financial performance including cost control and profitability.
• Provide technical oversight for field and laboratory work.
