Job summary

ComForCare Home Health Care - North Anne Arundel/Howard County is seeking compassionate caregivers to provide in-home personal care, companionship, and household support. You will follow a nurse’s care plan to help adults stay safe and independent at home.

Requirements include at least one year of experience and a completed CMT training course with certification. Travel to clients’ homes is required, with a focus on compassionate, reliable patient care.

Responsibilities

• Following a written plan of care by a registered nurse, provide personal care, household support, and companion care (homemaker).
• Assisting with activities of daily living: bathing, grooming, toileting, nail care, etc.
• Household support: light housekeeping, laundry, bed making, etc.
• Meal preparation and feeding
• Range of motion/exercises
• Assisting with ambulation (Transfers/use of mechanical lifting devices)
• Medication reminders
• Vital sign checks: temperature, pulse, respiration
