Job summary

comForCare is seeking a caring CNA to support clients at home with daily living activities and companionship. You will assist with hygiene, meal prep, light chores and mobility while maintaining safety and dignity for each client.

The role requires a CNA certification, at least one year of experience, and a willingness to travel to clients’ homes. We offer flexible full-time, part-time, and on-call schedules and a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of work experience as a caregiver or similar role.
• CNA training completed and licensed to work as a CNA.
• Empathy, patience, kindness and respect for clients.
• Ability to travel to clients’ homes as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Provide activities of daily living support: bathing, grooming, toileting and nail care.
• Assist with light housekeeping, laundry and meal preparation.
• Support range of motion exercises and ambulation as needed.
• Provide medication reminders and monitor vital signs.
• Ensure compassionate, reliable and high-quality patient care.

What you’ll do:

• Bathing, grooming, toileting, nail care, etc.
• Light housekeeping, laundry, bed making, etc.
• Meal preparation and feeding
• Range of motion/exercises
• Assisting with ambulation (Transfers/use of mechanical lifting devices)
• Medication reminders
• Vital sign checks: temperature, pulse, respiration

• At least one year of work experience
• Completed a recognized CNA training course and be certified to work as a Certified Nursing Assistant
