Job summary

ComForCare Home Care - Richmond/Glen Allen is seeking compassionate caregivers to provide companionship, personal care, and support to clients in their own homes. You will help clients stay independent and live safely, with training and field support.

We offer flexible shifts (full-time, part-time, or PRN), opportunities for growth, and a caregiver-first culture that emphasizes respect and ongoing training. Valid CNA license, CPR/First Aid, and reliable transportation are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or G.E.D. certificate.
• Valid CNA License
• Current CPR and First aid certificate
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Able to lift minimum 50 lbs. and perform necessary movements
• Experience with Hoyer lift and other mobility assistance devices
• Demonstrated ability to read, write, and follow a written Plan of Care/Aide Care Plan
• Previous experience as an at home caregiver or in senior communities is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily activities to help clients stay independent and in their own homes.
• Provide assistance with personal care.
• Assist with mobility, transfers and range of motion exercises.
• Handle meal planning, preparation and feeding.
• Properly manage household needs.
• Provide companionship and respite services for the family.
• Willing to work flexible shifts

Salary Range:

• $15.00 - $19.00 per hour based on experience

Compensation: $15.00 - $19.00 per hour
