Job summary

SkyWater Technology is seeking a Chemical Mechanical Polishing (CMP) Engineer to develop or integrate robust, manufacturable CMP recipes for Foundry customers. The role is based at our Bloomington, MN HQ with responsibilities spanning CMP tool characterization, process integration, and RCCA actions.

The candidate will have degrees in engineering and 5+ years (BS) or 3+ years (MS) of CMP-related experience in a semiconductor fab or lab, with knowledge of DOE, SPC, and Six Sigma. U.S.

Qualifications

• BS with 5 years, MS with 3 years, or PhD with 0-3 years of engineering experience in a semiconductor fab or lab environment.

Responsibilities

• Equipment and material characterization as it relates to CMP.
• Drive continuous improvement of CMP process capability and controls.
• Complex CMP process integration for CMOS/MEMS/Superconducting/Photonics or other novel device types.
• Resolve process excursions and drive permanent RCCA.
