Job summary

LeoForce in Tempe, AZ seeks a Senior CMP Process Engineer to lead development and optimization of CMP polishing processes, ensuring ISO compliance and driving yield improvement. You will troubleshoot production issues, collaborate cross-functionally, and mentor junior staff in a manufacturing environment.

The role requires a strong background in semiconductor manufacturing, process integration, and capability studies, with a focus on efficiency, quality, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role in the Semiconductor Manufacturing industry.
  • Proficiency in CMP Polishing Processes, mirra, ipec, and ontrak.
  • Strong understanding of Process Integration, Process Troubleshooting, and Process Capability.
  • Proven track record in yield improvement and process optimization.
  • In-depth knowledge of ISO compliance in a manufacturing environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and a keen eye for detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team and lead cross-functional projects.
  • Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • A continuous learner with a passion for keeping up-to-date with the latest advancements in the field.

Responsibilities

  • Perform regular process troubleshooting to identify and resolve production issues, minimizing downtime and enhancing productivity.
  • Utilize expertise in mirra, ipec, and ontrak to drive process improvements and yield enhancement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate new processes and methodologies into existing manufacturing operations.
  • Monitor process capability, identifying potential improvements and implementing necessary changes to enhance product quality and manufacturing efficiency.
  • Ensure strict compliance with ISO standards, implementing necessary procedures and controls to maintain compliance.
  • Conduct regular yield improvement activities, utilizing data analysis and process engineering techniques to enhance product quality and reduce waste.
  • Provide technical guidance and training to junior engineers and production staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
  • Stay updated with the latest advancements in CMP Polishing Processes and Semiconductor Manufacturing, implementing innovative solutions to improve process efficiency and product quality.
