Job summary

SkyWater Technology is seeking an experienced Process Sustaining Senior Engineer for CMP at our Austin, TX site. The role focuses on maintaining and improving CMP processes to meet production metrics and drive improvements in slurry, consumables, and equipment qualification.

Strong troubleshooting and data analysis skills are essential to diagnose issues with DOE-driven experimentation. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's in Engineering or Chemistry, 2–3 years of semiconductor experience,

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Chemistry or related discipline.
2-3 years of semiconductor manufacturing experience preferred.
Experience with chemical mechanical polish at a semiconductor company preferred.
Ability to handle challenging work with time constraints.
Good data analysis skills and the ability to use JMP and SQL.

Responsibilities

Responsible for a CMP process (STI, W, Oxide, or Cu).
Maintain and improve process control using SPC, APC, and FDC.
Investigate and resolve process, defect, and yield issues, including DOE.
Work with equipment and industrial engineers to improve tool availability, throughput, and utilization.
Develop and execute plans to drive down overall costs while ensuring high quality.
Work on cross-functional teams to address integrated technology and yield issues.
