Job summary

Pursuit Aerospace is seeking an experienced CMM Programmer to join our aerospace manufacturing team. You will leverage PC-DMIS to design and support inspection programs for machined components, focusing on accuracy, GD&T compliance, and robust routines.

This role can be performed remotely with up to 50% travel, and requires 3+ years of PC-DMIS experience and the ability to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in CMM programming using PC-DMIS.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis.
• Must be able to work without sponsorship now or in the future.
• Experience reading blueprints and technical drawings.
• Familiarity with manual layout inspection techniques.
• Aerospace exposure and materials like nickel, titanium, aluminum is advantageous.
• Proficiency in English, both verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• CMM Programming: design PC-DMIS programs for various features and inspection stages.
• Quality Assurance: ensure GD&T accuracy and proper part representation.
• Documentation: maintain inspection programs and reports, including non-conformance records.
• Collaboration: communicate with Quality and Manufacturing engineers and teams daily.
• Continuous Improvement: identify opportunities to enhance inspection processes.
• Training Support: assist in training inspectors on CMM operation.
• Compliance: follow safety procedures and company policies in quality activities.
• Problem-Solving: perform root cause analysis to resolve quality issues.
