Job summary

Pursuit Aerospace is seeking an experienced CMM Programmer to join our quality team. You will design and optimize PC-DMIS programs for complex parts, ensuring GD&T conformity and robust inspection routines. This role supports engineering and manufacturing, with remote work flexibility and up to 50% travel.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years of PC-DMIS programming, a strong eye for detail, and the ability to follow ITAR/EAR guidelines while communicating clearly with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• 3+ years of experience in CMM programming using PCDMIS.
• Must be able to perform work subject to ITAR/EAR regulations.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis without sponsorship now or in the future.
• Experience with reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings.
• PC-DMIS Programming Experience
• Familiarity with manual layout inspection techniques and part features made in various machining processes such as turning and milling.
• Experience in aerospace and with nickel, titanium and aluminum is advantageous.
• Proficiency in English language, both verbal and written.
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to interpret blueprints and sketches accurately.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Adaptable to changing business needs and skilled in problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• CMM Programming: Leverage PC-DMIS to design programs for various features to ensure robust inspection routines.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure accurate representation of part features per GD&T standards.
• Documentation: Maintain inspection program documentation and non-conformance records.
• Collaboration: Communicate with Quality and Manufacturing engineers and production teams to implement corrective actions.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve quality processes and inspection procedures.
• Training Support: Assist in training inspectors on CMM operation and quality standards.
• Compliance: Ensure compliance with safety procedures, quality regulations, and company policies.
• Problem-Solving: Use root cause analysis to investigate quality issues and implement preventive measures.
