Job summary

Renishaw is seeking a CMM Field Service Technician in the United States to install, calibrate, and support coordinate measuring machine control systems for diverse customers. The role involves extensive regional travel, up to 100%, with opportunities for hands‑on training and growth within Renishaw’s CGPD team.

The position requires strong troubleshooting skills, the ability to read engineering docs, and excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Minimum Associate degree in Electrical/Electronics/Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Technology, Engineering Technology or equivalent hands‑on field service experience.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documentation, engineering drawings, and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Onsite installation, calibration, and certification of new coordinate measuring machines.
• Onsite/Remote technical and commercial support of CGPD product line to customers, direct sales force and distributors.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, software, and system performance issues.
• Maintain compliance with Renishaw quality procedures and service standards to ensure exceptional customer satisfaction.
• Assist in preparation and supporting trade shows, exhibitions, and open houses.
• Other duties as assigned or requested.
