Job summary

Renishaw is seeking an Applications Engineer-CMM to provide technical support to customers, develop CMM inspection strategies, and create MODUS/DMIS programs. Significant travel within the Southeastern US is required, with occasional domestic travel across the US.

You will train customers, support sales, and help define project scope. Requires a BS in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent, DMIS or metrology language experience, and programming skills (VB/Java/C++).

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent required.
• Experience with DMIS or other metrology languages preferred.
• Programming experience in VB/Java/C++; CAD/CAM background beneficial.
• Internship or experience with machining environments preferred.
• Experience using Renishaw products is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Analyze customer measurement and inspection requirements; develop CMM inspection strategies.
• Create and optimize MODUS and DMIS measurement programs.
• Troubleshoot measurement issues and support startup and ramp-up.
• Assist with technical presentations and product demonstrations; support sales.
