Job summary

Valley Health System in Paramus, NJ is seeking a Supervisor, Certified Medical Assistant to lead the CMA team, coordinate workflow, and ensure safe, high-quality patient care. Reporting to the Practice Manager and providers, you will oversee staffing, training, onboarding, and performance to maintain efficient clinical operations.

You will maintain clinical workflows, enforce policies, manage supplies and EMR use, and provide hands-on support as needed while promoting professionalism and patient

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in a healthcare-related field preferred
• Completion of a formal Medical Assistant program recognized by the State of New Jersey required
• Current and valid CMA or RMA certification recognized by the Board of Examiners required

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise CMA staff and coordinate CMA workflow
• Staffing, training, onboarding, and competency assessment
• Maintain consistent clinical workflows and patient care processes
• Communicate issues and recommendations to Practice Manager and providers
• Provide hands-on clinical support as needed
• Ensure documentation and supplies management
