Job summary

Valley Health System in Ridgewood, NJ is seeking a Lead CMA Supervisor to coordinate CMA work processes, oversee staff scheduling, orient new CMAs, and participate in employment activities. You will supervise Lab and Proficiency Testing and lead daily huddles and rounds to promote high standards of patient care.

You will attend Lead Clinical Staff meetings, support the Practice Manager at monthly meetings, and ensure CMA compliance with Valley Health System policies and best practices.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in a healthcare-related field preferred.
• Completion of a formal Medical Assistant program recognized by the State of New Jersey.
• Current CMA or RMA certification recognized by the Board of Examiners (AMT, AAMA, NCCT) required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate CMA work processes and supervise CMAs.
• Oversee staff scheduling and provide feedback on performance.
• Orient new CMAs and participate in employment processes.
• Supervise Laboratory and Proficiency Testing.
• Attend Lead Clinical Staff meetings and lead daily huddles/rounds.
• Assist Practice Manager at monthly staff meetings.
• Ensure CMA compliance with Valley Health System policies and best practices.
