Valley Health System is seeking a Coordinating Certified Medical Assistant to oversee CMA teams, schedule staff, provide performance feedback, and orient new CMAs. The role includes supervising Lab and proficiency testing, leading clinical staff meetings, and participating in monthly staff discussions to align with policies.

Ideal candidates hold an Associates degree in a healthcare field, NJ-recognized MA program completion, and current CMA/RMA certification.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in a healthcare field preferred.
• Completion of an NJ-recognized Medical Assistant program is required.
• Current CMA or RMA certification recognized by NJ Board is required.
• Supervisory experience preferred for coordinating CMAs.

Responsibilities

• Oversee CMA work processes and supervise CMAs in a practice.
• Coordinate staff scheduling and provide performance feedback.
• Orient new CMAs and participate in employment processes.
• Supervise Lab and proficiency testing and attend lead meetings.
• Perform daily huddles and rounding to influence operations.
• Educate CMAs on policies and monitor compliance.
