Qualifications

Job Description

As a clinic assistant at Westfields Hospital & Clinic, you are responsible for a variety of patient care duties and other related duties in the clinical setting, including documentation of medical information, administration of medications/vaccinations and treatments, as well as obtaining medical histories, vital signs, etc.

The clinic assistant assists healthcare providers in delivering services per physician/RN direction and in accordance with Clinic policies and procedures.

All programs and activities support the mission, vision, goals, and objectives of Westfields Hospital & Clinic.

Work Schedule

• 36 hrs weekly / 0.9 FTE. Day/evening shifts (Varying Hours Mon-Thursday between 6:45am-7pm, Friday 6:45am-5pm, rotating Saturday 7:45am-12pm)

Required Qualifications

• High School diploma/equivalent.
• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program (current certification as a MA preferred), current LPN licensure in Wisconsin, or graduate of an accredited EMT program.
• Current CPR certification required within 6 months of hire and maintained while employed.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in EPIC computer system.
