Job description

As a clinic assistant at Westfields Hospital & Clinic, you are responsible for a variety of patient care duties and other related duties in the clinical setting, including documentation of medical information, administration of medications/vaccinations and treatments, as well as obtaining medical histories and vital signs.

The clinic assistant assists healthcare providers in delivering services efficiently according to physician/RN guidance and Clinic policies and procedures.

All programs and activities support the short- and long-term mission, vision, goals, and objectives of Westfields Hospital & Clinic.

Work Schedule:

• 1.0 FTE/40 hours per week. Day/evening shifts (Varying Hours Monday through Thursday 7AM-7PM, Friday 7AM-5PM, occasional Saturdays 8AM-12PM)

Required Qualifications:

• High School diploma/equivalent.
• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program (current certification as a MA preferred), current LPN licensure in Wisconsin, or graduate of an accredited EMT program.
• Current CPR certification required within 6 months of hire and maintained during employment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with EPIC computer system.
