Sign-On Bonuses: $5,000 for CMA or LPN candidates and $10,000 for RNs (external applicants)

Responsibilities

1. Assist provider and clinical staff with patient vital signs, examinations, treatments, and minor procedures.
2. Demonstrate competence in clinical skills.
3. Track follow-up appointments and monitor disease status.
4. Schedule referrals, complete forms, and handle lab/test requisitions with proper coding.
5. Educate patients and families, provide documentation, and ensure compliance with regulations.
6. Attend meetings, stay informed via emails and intranet, and adhere to safety and privacy policies.
7. Maintain attendance and contribute to a positive team environment.
8. Perform other duties as assigned to support clinic operations.

Qualifications

1. Current Iowa RN or LPN license.
2. Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program with CMA certification (AAMA, NCCT, AMT, NHA).
3. Mandatory Reporter and CPR certifications.
4. Preferred clinical experience, computer skills, and strong communication and interpersonal skills.
