Qualifications

• Current Iowa/Illinois RN or LPN license is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist providers and clinical staff with obtaining vital signs, preparing patients for examinations, treatments, and minor procedures.
• Demonstrate competence in clinical skills necessary for the role.
• Track follow-up appointments, lab tests, and procedures to monitor patient health.
• Schedule referrals, complete forms, and ensure proper coding.
• Educate patients and families, and document in electronic health records.
• Ensure compliance with CLIA, OSHA, and HIPAA guidelines.
• Attend meetings, read communications, and stay informed about organizational updates.
• Maintain regular attendance and professional behavior.
• Perform other duties as assigned to ensure clinic operations run smoothly.

Qualifications

• Current Iowa/Illinois RN or LPN license.
• Graduate of an accredited medical assisting program or equivalent.
• Certification in CMA, CPR, and Mandatory Reporting.
• Previous clinical experience preferred.
• Strong computer, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and understand policies and procedures.
