CAN Community Health Inc. is hiring a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) I for full-time day shift in Fort Myers, FL. Schedule includes Monday-Thursday 8:00 am–6:00 pm and Friday 8:30 am–12:30 pm, with extended hours bi-monthly; pay rate is $23.27–$26.76 hourly based on experience.

The role supports care for patients affected by HIV, Hepatitis C, STI’s and other infectious diseases, performs phlebotomy, and assists front desk duties. A sign-on bonus is offered through Aug 31, 2026.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Certification (CMA, RMA, CCMA) required or obtainable within 6 months of hire.
• CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform medical intake, vital signs, and patient history.
• Conduct phlebotomy and immunizations as directed.
• Assist front desk with patient check-in, payments, and scheduling.
• Greet patients with professionalism and maintain confidentiality.
