CAN Community Health Inc. is hiring a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join our team in Miami.

The role combines clinical duties with front desk responsibilities, including patient intake, phlebotomy, taking vital signs, and processing payments. The position offers full-time day schedule, competitive pay $21.25–$24.43 per hour, paid time off, holidays, and training support, with bilingual English/Spanish as a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program preferred.
• Certification (CMA, RMA, CCMA) required or ability to achieve certification within 6 months of hire.
• CPR certification required.
• 1+ years of experience in a clinical setting preferred.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
• Must be able to operate a motor vehicle and have valid insurance and driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Medical Assistant duties: perform intake, vital signs, history, patient evaluation and assessment, document symptoms and treatments, immunizations, and phlebotomy.
• Front Desk duties: greet patients professionally, collect payments, verify insurance, schedule appointments, ensure follow-ups for missing documentation.
• Phlebotomy tasks: venipuncture, fingerstick, patient identification, proper collection labeling, sample processing.
