Shift Details

The available shifts include:

• Overnight Shift (32 hours only): Wednesday - Saturday, 1:45 pm - 10:15 pm (base pay with shift differential = $16 - $17/hour)
• Weekend Shift: Saturday - Sunday, 5:45 am - 10:15 pm. Base pay: $15-$16/hour. This position qualifies for Baylor pay. Working both Saturday and Sunday, arriving on time, completing shifts, and finishing all charting earns an additional 8 hours per week (paid for 40 hours while working 32).

Responsibilities

• Administer and accurately record medications as prescribed, under nurse supervision
• Record and report resident vital signs
• Manage medication supplies
• Maintain accountability for medications ordered, received, stored, and administered
• Care for residents' personal needs, safety, and comfort
• Assist with activities of daily living, including hygiene, dressing, and mobility
• Observe and report changes in residents' condition
• Conduct rounds to monitor hazards or incidents
• Assist in dining activities, including escorting, serving, and cleanup

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Certified Medication Aide (CMA) license for Oklahoma (NOT Medical Assistant)

• Preferred: Six months of experience in a retirement community
• Effective communication skills in English with residents, families, and staff
• Careful, organized, and able to multitask
