The University of Notre Dame is seeking a Sport Programs Coordinator, Club Sport Operations, to provide financial and operational leadership for a vibrant club sport program with 50+ teams and 1,400+ student-athletes. The role supports 10+ clubs and reports to the Assistant Director.

This full-time, 12-month, in-person position requires evening/weekend duties during the academic year and some summer work, with onboarding coaches, ensuring compliance, and developing budgets.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree required; master's degree preferred; majors include recreation administration, sport management, or kinesiology.
• Strong leadership, customer service, team building, and decision‑making skills.
• 1-2 years of related experience in higher education.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, written and verbal.
• Excellent computer proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
• Direct personnel management experience in recruiting, hiring, training, scheduling, and evaluating student staff.
• Budget development and budget management experience.
• Experience with programming or service delivery for diverse populations.
• Commitment to the Catholic, Holy Cross mission.

Mansioni

• Provide leadership training and support to student club leadership regarding decision-making, responsibility, organizational dynamics, teamwork, conflict resolution, and creating a positive culture.
• Coordinate onboarding of club sport coaches, including annual contract approval, background checks, W-9s, payment, and training.
• Serve as primary Activities Liaison and RecSports contact to 10+ sport clubs.
• Generate sport club program reports for RecSports leadership.
• Educate club sport members in travel procedures and ensure policy compliance.
• Coordinate with the University Registrar to determine club participant eligibility for competition.
• Assist in reviewing and implementing a risk management plan for club sports.
• Monitor use of official university marks with University Trademark Licensing.
• Interact with Office of Community Standards regarding club conduct.
• Collaborate with Student Activities Office to ensure policy compliance and reporting in NDCentral.
• Assist in creating policies for club travel, code of conduct, and special events.
• Coordinate with healthcare and EMS for sport club home events.
