Job summary

University of Notre Dame is accepting applications for the Sport Programs Coordinator, Club Sport Operations, to provide financial leadership for a diverse club sports portfolio. The role supports 50+ teams and 1,400+ student-athletes within the Office of Recreational Sports, reporting to the Assistant Director for Sport Programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in recreation administration, sport management, leisure studies, physical education, kinesiology, or comparable degree.
• Demonstrated leadership, customer service, team building, and decision-making skills.
• 1-2 years of related experience in higher education.
• Excellent interpersonal and written/verbal skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide financial oversight and leadership for 10+ sport clubs and 1,400+ student-athletes.
• Manage onboarding of coaches, contracts, background checks, payments, and training.
• Oversee club sport budgets up to $200,000 and generate quarterly financial reports.
• Coordinate with Registrar on participant eligibility for competition.
• Ensure compliance with university policies and risk management plans.
