Job summary

Boys & Girls Clubs of King County (BGCKC) seeks a PROGRAM DIRECTOR to lead the Bainbridge Island site, ensuring high quality programs and service delivery for members, families, staff and the community. Strategically oversee and manage budgets, operations, and work plans while advancing BGCKC’s mission.

Qualifications

• Two years' experience in management, supervision, or leadership preferred. Required at licensed sites.
• Two years’ youth development experience.
• Demonstrated ability in personnel supervision, facilities management, and the recruitment and retention of key personnel.
• Comfortable with and experienced in utilizing Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to manage databases, collect information and pull accurate reports.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, professional presence, strong customer service skills with the ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
• Working knowledge of budget preparation, control, and management skills.
• Ability to work on and manage a team.

Responsibilities

• Work with Marketing and Communications on advertisement of Club programs.
• Inspire and develop staff to live the mission, vision and values of the organization while delivering an Outcome-Driven Club Experience for youth and families.
• Develop key community partnerships development, collective impact and data sharing with schools and community organizations.
• Lead and manage internal staff to conduct effective operations and deliver high quality customer service at all times.
• Serve as the primary site leader for community connections to local school sites and district education administrators.
• Adjust shifts as needed to include early mornings and occasional evenings and weekends.
• Provide visible leadership at Club site and maintain contact with staff, members and families.
• Collaborate on committees and task forces.
• Provide leadership oversight to all Club programs and partnerships.
