Job summary

Excel Fitness in Tyler, AL is seeking a Club Operations Manager to assist the General Manager with staffing, training, and daily operations. You will hire, onboard, coach, and develop up to 20 Team Players while upholding the Excel values and world-class member service.

Responsibilities include scheduling, payroll verification, inventory management, inspections, and supporting marketing efforts and guest experiences.

Qualifications

Must be at least 18 years of age.
HS diploma or equivalent required.
CPR/AED certification required; training available if needed within 30 days of employment.
Proven ability to lead, develop, and supervise a team.
Familiar with Excel mission, values, and culture, and brand standards.

Responsibilities

Assist GM in planning and implementing member-attraction strategies while upholding Excel Core Values.
Oversee hiring process: selecting candidates, interviewing, onboarding documentation.
Train and develop new Team Players and ensure certifications and training requirements are met.
Coach staff, monitor performance, and address issues with the GM and HR as needed.
Manage scheduling, payroll items, and related commissions, and verify accuracy.
Support club KPI tracking and inventory management; coordinate with GM and HQ on orders.
