Job summary

24 Hour Fitness in Pearl City, HI is seeking an Operations Manager to lead the front-line operations team, ensure a clean, safe club, and deliver an exceptional member experience. You will manage scheduling, timekeeping, and wage-and-hour compliance while driving retail performance and member satisfaction.

Responsibilities include supervising Attendants and Kids' Club staff, coordinating onboarding, coaching performance, and ensuring service standards across the club.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1 year of supervisory or team lead experience in fitness, hospitality, retail, or customer service.
• Experience building employee schedules and managing labor hours to a budget.
• Working knowledge of wage‑and‑hour practices and timekeeping.
• Strong communication, coaching, and conflict‑resolution skills with a member‑first service mindset.
• Ability to obtain CPR/AED certification within the required timeframe.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervise Sales & Service Associates, Kids' Club Attendants, and Club Attendants; recruit and select staff.
• Onboard and train new team members on service standards, systems, safety, and timekeeping.
• Coach team members, conduct performance conversations, and recommend actions to GM.
• Ensure wage-and-hour compliance, meal/rest periods, and accurate timecards.
• Lead front desk operations, member check-in, and account updates.
• Drive club performance in retail and positive member sentiment.
• Oversee Kids' Club operations and safety protocols.
• Maintain club cleanliness and safety standards through daily walk-throughs.
• Oversee POS, cash handling, deposits, and reporting; support promotions.
