Excel Fitness in Texas is seeking a part-time team member to support daily club operations, customer service, and cleanliness. The role involves assisting members, performing audits, and promoting memberships in a fast-paced fitness club environment.

The position requires standing for long periods, CPR/AED certification (to be completed if not already), and good communication. Training on Planet Fitness app and adherence to company policies are essential.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years of age.
• CPR and AED certification to be obtained if not already.
• Able to stand for long periods of time.
• Great communication skills with internal and external customers.
• Team-oriented, motivated and well-organized.
• Ability to think critically and evaluate solutions proactively.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and using a computer.
• Familiar with Excel’s mission, values, and culture, as well as the Planet Fitness brand and operational requirements.

Responsabilités

• Perform to your best abilities during your assigned work shift.
• Monitor and maintain club cleanliness and atmosphere.
• Stay proficient in Planet Fitness mobile app use, content, and updates.
• Ensure all proper training completed to operate safely and efficiently.
• Conduct regular audits to ensure club is presentable and up to Excel standards.
• Perform club walkarounds and complete cleaning or tasks, then re-inspect.
• Utilize point of sale for members to purchase drinks and merchandise.
• Ensure members adhere to company policies and guidelines and address infractions.
• Provide a safe and secure environment for all members.
• Communicate with members and create a high level of customer service.
• Stock retail and janitorial items for the shift.
• Understand and adhere to company standards and resolve day-to-day issues.
• Audit club inventory and communicate with GM/AM/Shift Lead on orders.
• Stay up to date on required certifications and training.
• Participate in team meetings.
• Communicate with, promote, tour, and assist prospects and members.
• Assist GMs and AMs with membership promotions and operational strategies.
• Ensure compliance with state/federal laws and insurance requirements.
• Operate and assist members with equipment and amenities, ensuring procedures are followed.
• Assist GM and represent the company at community events.
