Planet Fitness in Massachusetts is seeking a Club Manager to oversee gym operations and deliver a superior Judgement Free Zone experience while achieving financial targets. The role leads a diverse staff, trains employees, and ensures top-notch customer service, safety, and cleanliness.

The Club Manager will manage front desk operations, payroll, scheduling, and marketing support, with a full-time schedule that may include nights, weekends, and holidays. Competitive pay and benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Passion for helping others.
• Commitment to excellent service.
• Previous management experience is preferred.
• Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Suite).
• Current CPR Certification preferred.
• High school diploma/GED equivalent required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Achieve or exceed individual sales goals, contribute to club monthly and yearly goals.
• Recruit, hire, train and develop a high performing staff consisting of Member Service Representatives, Assistant Managers, Shift Leaders, Trainers and Custodians.
• Create and maintain a welcoming atmosphere for all members, prospective members and guests and ensure staff follows superior customer service guidelines.
• Staff Management: Schedule staff and ensure all shifts are covered, lead by example and train/coaching while upholding PF values.
• Administration and processing of payroll; resolve employee issues or concerns; manage disciplinary actions.
• Front desk activities: answer phones, check members in, new member sign-up, tours, member requests.
• Oversee cleanliness and maintenance of facility, ensure safety and timely equipment repairs.
• Support marketing efforts by training staff on promotions and promotions execution; authorize expenditures and refunds; make daily deposits.
• Prepare HR-related forms and coordinate with Corporate Payroll; track statistics and generate reports.
• Forecast and support achievement of sales goals across region; share best practices and mentor team.
