Job summary

Planet Fitness in Reading, MA seeks a Club Manager to oversee gym operations and deliver a high-quality, Judgement Free Zone experience while driving financial success. You’ll lead a team of Member Service Representatives, Assistant Managers, Trainers, and staff, with a focus on excellent customer service and staff development.

Daily duties include achieving sales goals, staffing, payroll processing, safety, maintenance, front desk activities, and execution of marketing promotions.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Passion for helping others.
• Commitment to excellent service
• Previous management experience preferred
• Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Suite)
• Current CPR Certification preferred
• High school diploma/GED equivalent required
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong leadership and organizational skills

Responsibilities

• Achieve or exceed individual sales goals and contribute to club targets.
• Recruit, hire, train and develop a high performing staff.
• Create welcoming atmosphere for members and guests and ensure top service.
• Schedule staff and manage shifts; coach direct reports.
• Oversee front desk activities: check-in, tours, member questions.
• Ensure safety and maintenance of facility; supervise cleaning tasks.
• Assist in marketing promotions and manage expenditures.
• Process payroll and HR forms; track weekly/monthly/annual statistics.
• Forecast sales goals and align with regional targets.
• Maintain adherence to CORE values and brand standards.
