Job summary

Planet Fitness - Baseline Fitness is seeking a proactive Gym Manager to oversee daily operations, ensuring a positive member experience and financial success. You will recruit, train, schedule and supervise staff, while maintaining an engaging front desk presence and guiding tours for prospective members.

In this role you’ll lead by example, coach performance to meet standards, manage onboarding in Paycom, and ensure the club opens on time with proper staffing.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of managerial experience or equivalent.
• Strong customer service, communication and leadership skills.
• Excellent organizational abilities and leadership presence.
• Honesty and good work ethic are essential.
• Basic computer proficiency required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs when needed.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, hire, train, schedule and supervise team members.
• Oversee member service to ensure exceptional customer experiences.
• Lead front desk tasks: greeting members, tours, and inquiries.
• Open/close the gym and ensure proper staffing during hours.
• Order supplies and track inventory; enforce company policies.
