Job summary

Planet Fitness - Baseline Fitness is seeking a dynamic Gym Operations Supervisor to oversee daily gym operations and ensure a positive member experience. The role includes recruiting, training, scheduling, and supervising staff, while managing front desk duties and member tours.

You will also ensure opening/closing, cleanliness, payroll processing, marketing coordination, and adherence to budget and policy.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Prior supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong customer service skills required.
• Strong communication, organizational and leadership skills are essential.
• Basic computer proficiency required.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, hire, train, schedule and supervise staff.
• Oversee member service and ensure great customer experience.
• Manage front desk tasks and greet potential members with gym tours.
• Address member service issues and questions.
• Ensure opening and closing of the gym is performed on schedule.
• Oversee daily cleaning and gym appearance.
• Process weekly payroll for employees.
• Assist with marketing as directed and ensure staff are trained.
• Authorize expenditures and handle daily bank deposits.
• Prepare new hire forms and route to regional manager.
• Provide backup support when employees are out.
