Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club, Inc. seeks an Assistant Club Manager in Training (AMIT) to lead and develop teams across departments, ensuring top-tier member service and GOLD standards. The program prepares you for one of three AMIT tracks: Merchandising, Perishables, or Member Experience, with structured development and on-the-job leadership.

You will partner with the Club Manager, drive department performance, and uphold food-safety and operations excellence while advancing to a full management role.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience as a retail store, supermarket, or warehouse operations manager required.
• Strong drive for results; must be honest and committed to high service levels.
• Excellent communication skills; able to lead and motivate a large team.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations across assigned departments.
• Recruit, hire, and onboard team members; manage staffing decisions.
• Drive labor planning, scheduling, and shrink management.
• Ensure GAA (Greet, Anticipate, Appreciate) and GOLD standards across departments.
