Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club in Florida is seeking an Assistant Club Manager in Training (AMIT) to develop leadership talents and prepare for one of three tracks: Merchandising, Perishables, or Member Experience.

The AMIT will lead with the Club Manager, oversee department execution, and drive GOLD standards, safety, and member satisfaction while developing future leaders and ensuring smooth operations.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in retail store, supermarket, or warehouse operations.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Knowledge of safety, sanitation, and operational standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for assigned departments (Merchandising, Perishables, or Member Experience).
• Recruit, hire, and onboard team members; manage performance and development.
• Ensure compliance with safety, food safety, and operational standards; monitor KPIs.
