Job summary

Hearthstone Country Club seeks a General Manager to lead the club's strategic direction, operations, and membership growth. You will develop and execute business plans, ensure member satisfaction, and foster a positive work environment while meeting financial goals.

The role requires strong leadership, budget management, and collaboration with regional teams to optimize performance and member experience. Excellent communication and team development are essential in this on-site position.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ years in club management, hospitality, or related field.
• 1+ year managing budgets and cost control to impact profitability.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Certifications such as Food Handlers, Alcohol Safety, STAR Service/Trainer, TABC, CPR are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive business and financial strategy plans for the club.
• Monitor performance metrics against plans to ensure revenue targets are met.
• Lead department heads in operations across Agronomy, Facilities, Fitness & Wellness, Food & Beverage, Golf, Member Experience, and Sales.
• Recruit, develop, and evaluate department heads and staff.
• Guide employee development plans using performance reviews, cross-training, and goal setting.
• Implement sales, marketing, and net revenue strategies aligned with financial plans.
• Maintain expense controls and forecasting to manage expenses and payroll ratios.
• Ensure financial obligations such as debt and leases are met in compliance with GAAP.
