Job summary

In-Shape Fitness is seeking a Club Technician to maintain safety, repair and upkeep of facilities, equipment, pools and systems. You will work with the GM and operations team to prioritize tasks and ensure quality standards.

The role requires hands-on mechanical, plumbing and electrical skills, CPR certification or ability to obtain within 60 days, and flexible hours including evenings and weekends. Travel to other clubs may be needed.

Qualifications

• Experience repairing mechanical, plumbing and electrical systems; trade work or CPO training a bonus.
• Background in health club, hospitality, property management or industrial settings.
• Willingness to overtime and after-hours work.
• Must have reliable transportation and basic computer skills (Outlook/Word).

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe environment by applying safety policies.
• Conduct daily facility walk-through; repair or maintain building systems and equipment.
• Collaborate with GM to prioritize daily and weekly tasks.
• Provide repair vs. replacement recommendations to GM.
• Repair fitness equipment, plumbing, electrical, pools, steam, saunas and related systems.
• Support capital repair projects with Facilities leadership.
• Track work orders and document progress in the maintenance system.
