Job summary

The Ranch Country Club in Denver seeks friendly Front-of-House Service Staff to greet guests, take orders, and ensure a welcoming, efficient dining experience. The role focuses on attentive service, menu knowledge, and creating a comfortable atmosphere for Members and guests.

Responsibilities include setting tables, coordinating with kitchen and bar staff, delivering meals and beverages, processing payments, and supporting events with a polished, professional presence.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience: Previous serving experience required.
• Excellent oral communication skills required.
• Positive interpersonal skills required.
• Must speak English fluently and be able to write in basic English.

Responsibilities

• Prepare tables, napkins and utensils, refill condiments and perform preparation tasks.
• Stay updated on menu choices, specialties, and menu deviations; know if items are running out.
• Handle bookings, direct guests to tables, present menus, suggest dishes, assist in drink selection, and communicate needs to cooks.
• Maintain dining experience, deliver items, fulfill guest needs, offer desserts and drinks, remove courses, replenish utensils, and refill glasses.
• Open and pour wine at the tableside.
• Obtain revenues, issue receipts, accept payments, and balance server chits and receipts.
• Perform basic cleaning tasks as needed or directed by the supervisor.
• Fill in for absent staff as needed.
• Assist with special events as needed.
• Greet guests and Members warmly with an appropriate greeting.
• Adhere to grooming and appearance standards consistently.
• Understand and communicate products and services available at the resort.
