Job summary

Invited is seeking a Cook 1 to join our hospitality team in a dynamic club environment. You will be responsible for setting up, prepping, and organizing your workstation, supporting cooks at higher levels, and ensuring proper storage and sanitation across the kitchen.

As an entry-level position, you will learn foundational cooking tasks, maintain cleanliness, and contribute to delivering consistent food quality and presentation while collaborating with Cook 2 and Cook 3.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a kitchen environment.
• Valid Food Handler certification as required by state/city regulations.
• Strong communication skills and ability to follow instructions accurately.

Responsibilities

• Set-up, execute daily prep tasks, and organize workstation.
• Prepare and store all food items required for your station.
• Maintain proper cooking techniques and consistent presentation of menu items.
• Receive and store goods as requested by kitchen operations.
• Communicate with executive/sous chefs regarding product needs or issues.
• Interact professionally with members and guests and handle last-minute requests.
