Job summary

EPAM Systems, Inc. seeks a Cloud Solution Architect to shape how clients leverage cloud technologies across industries. You will join a committed team helping businesses unlock the advantages of cloud platforms and lead cloud transformation initiatives.

You will guide AWS deployments, design cloud-native and hybrid architectures, and drive governance, security, and cost optimization while mentoring teams and communicating complex concepts to business audiences.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in cloud architecture or a closely related field.
• 2+ years in leadership, management, architect, owner, or coordinator positions.
• Experience managing teams of five or more people.
• Involvement in at least two full project cycles or multiple projects at different development stages.
• Extensive knowledge of AWS Cloud and other cloud architecture domains.
• Strong communication skills and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience with cloud design patterns, governance, security, and cost management.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients throughout their AWS cloud journey by gathering requirements and building business cases.
• Evaluate current cloud infrastructures and provide actionable recommendations.
• Develop AWS architectures to support migrations and transformations.
• Deliver AWS-native solutions leveraging broad service capabilities.
• Design and implement cloud-agnostic microservices architectures using Kubernetes, Pivotal, and other services.
• Lead clients through technical and organizational changes during Cloud and DevOps initiatives.
