Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. in Denver, CO, is seeking engineers to help operate Route 53 and Perimeter Protection for critical U.S. Government workloads.

You will design, deploy, and monitor large distributed systems, applying automation to improve reliability and scale while delivering an exceptional customer experience. Preferred candidates hold a TS/SCI with Polygraph, experience with Linux, networking, and cloud services, and a track record of building robust, scalable services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or CSSLP required.
• 3+ years of non‑internship professional software development experience.
• 2+ years designing or architecting scalable systems.
• Knowledge of networking, storage, operating systems.
• Experience with one modern language (C++, C#, Java, Python, Golang, PowerShell, Ruby).
• Current, active US Government Security Clearance TS/SCI with Polygraph.

Responsibilities

• Ensure Route 53 and Perimeter Protection services offer 100% uptime SLA.
• Deploy software, troubleshoot failures, automate with IaC and operator tools.
• Manage systems in air‑gapped regions and build software‑based monitoring solutions.
• Collaborate across AWS teams to maintain safety and security.
