Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) seeks a Systems Development Engineer to design, deploy, monitor, and automate cloud infrastructure for the U.S. Intelligence Community. The role focuses on compliance, governance via AWS CloudTrail and Service Quotas, delivering highly available systems and outstanding customer experiences.

The ideal candidate will build solutions, work with demanding government customers, and drive technical issue resolution while maintaining an active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or above, or CND or GSEC certifications.
• Experience programming with at least one modern language (C++, C#, Java, Python, Golang, PowerShell, Ruby).
• Experience tools for automation (building, testing, releasing or monitoring).
• Current, active US Government Security Clearance TS/SCI with Polygraph.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, monitor, and automate infrastructure, tools and systems to provide a highly-available and resilient platforms for customers' workloads.
• Lead root-cause analysis of operational issues and drive corrective actions.
• Architect and operate production systems at scale in distributed environments.
