Job summary

Amazon Development Center U.S., Inc. is seeking a skilled engineer for operations and cloud solutions within a high-security environment in Seattle, WA.

You will maintain service health, analyze performance, and contribute to automation while supporting federal agencies with innovative cloud storage and computing solutions. The role requires 2+ years of systems administration (Linux/ Networking), strong debugging skills, and scripting ability.

Qualifications

• Two+ years of systems administration experience (Linux and/or Networking).
• Experience with debugging, systems analysis, and identifying/resolving issues.
• Ability to script and automate tasks.

Responsibilities

• Investigate and mitigate operational concerns to maintain service health.
• Proactively analyze performance outliers via metrics and logs.
• Deep dive into service architecture to understand configurations and dependencies.
• Contribute to automation and tooling to improve operations.
• Participate in on-call rotations to support critical incidents.
• Support U.S. Intelligence Community and Defense agencies with cloud solutions.
