Qualifications

• 3+ years of systems administration in a cloud environment.
• 3+ years with cloud monitoring/logging tools (CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, Splunk, or ELK).
• 3+ years in patch management, backups, and high availability in the cloud.
• 3+ years with DNS (Route53/Azure DNS) and Entra, as well as SSO.
• 2+ years with configuration management tools such as Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.
• Bachelor's degree in CS, SE, or equivalent practical experience.

Responsibilities

Description

Key Responsibilities

• Infrastructure Design: Build and manage cloud environments using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
• System Automation: Write scripts in Python, Bash, or PowerShell to automate deployments, backups, and routine maintenance.
• Monitoring and Health: Track system performance, resource usage, and cost efficiency using cloud observability platforms.
• Security and Compliance: Enforce identity and access management (IAM), network security groups, and data encryption standards.
• Incident Response: Troubleshoot outages, analyze logs, and resolve complex application or network issues. [1, 2, 4]

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Cloud Platforms: Hands‑on experience with major providers like AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Containers: Knowledge of containerization tools like Docker and orchestration systems like Kubernetes.
• CI/CD Pipelines: Experience with automation tools such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Jenkins.
• Education: A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.

Cloud Systems Management Engineer must have a minimum of three (3) years of experience in systems administration with a cloud environment.

Cloud Systems Management Engineer must have a minimum of three (3) years in experience with cloud monitoring and logging tools (AWS Cloudwatch, Azure Monitor, Splunk, or ELK Stack.

Cloud Systems Management Engineer must have a minimum of three (3) years in patch management, backup/recovery, and high availability configuration in the cloud.

Cloud Systems Management Engineer must have a minimum of three (3) years with DNS (Route53/Azure DNS) and Entra, as well as SSO.

Cloud Systems Management Engineer must have a minimum of two (2) years with configuration management tools such as Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.
