Job summary

Amazon Development Center U.S., Inc. is seeking engineers to design, implement, and operate cloud infrastructure for US government workloads. You will work on the world’s largest distributed systems, improving tools and processes with a focus on reliability, security, and automation.

Role requires TS/SCI with Polygraph, and involves Agile/DevOps approaches in AWS GovCloud and regional environments. Expect collaboration with cross-functional teams and ongoing learning opportunities.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or above, or CND (Certified Network Defender) or GSEC (GIAC Security Essentials)
• Experience programming in at least one modern language such as C++, C#, Java, Python, Golang, PowerShell, Ruby
• 1+ years in Linux/Unix environments
• Experience automating and simplifying team development, test, and operations processes
• Current, active US Government Security Clearance of TS/SCI with Polygraph

Responsibilities

• Identify ways to improve tools, processes and documentation for customers.
• Learn site reliability engineering fundamentals and reduce toil.
• Contribute code and automation to remove repetitive work and tune alarms for real problems.
